AT&T now accepting Lumia 900 pre-orders, only those seeking cyan or black need apply

Engadget - Friendly reminder here, folks. As expected, AT&T has opened the pre-order floodgates for the Nokia Lumia 900 today ahead of its April 8th release in the US. Interested parties can secure their reservation for the Window Phone 7.5-loaded device at either AT&T's retail or online stores. While you'll be able to snag one in either matter black or cyan blue, we'd be remiss not to point out that the white version (slated for an April 22nd release) isn't yet on offer.

Engadget - Best of the best, best of the worst and best thing we didn't need. Those are some ringing endorsements we've got for you in this week's IRL. On the more enthusiastic end of the spectrum there's Darren, who finally found a dual-band router with strong enough range to service all three floors of his new home. Terrence is closing in on his fourth year using Evernote, the "least bad" note-taking app of the bunch. As for James, well, has he ever met a piece of audio equipment he didn't like?

The New Sony NEX FS700 4K for $8k

EOSHD - At NAB 2012 next month, Sony will shake the digital cinema market to its core. Sonys answer to the C300 is a 4K Super 35mm update to the FS100. It will be available in June for a provisional $8000. My source (based in Taiwan) says that the FS700 does 4K via 3G HD-SDI to an external recorder. The FS700 is said to include 3 internal ND filters yet retains the NEX E-mount. Looks like they found some space for those missing FS100 NDs after all.

LG Optimus Elite Pictured for Sprint, Virgin (Images)

PocketNow - While it's no surprise that both Sprint and its prepaid brand, Virgin Mobile, will soon be carrying the Google Wallet-endowed LG Optimus Elite, a pair of new renders reveals that they will look quite different from the Optimus Net NFC we had originally anticipated. Specs-wise, we're still anticipating the two handsets to offer mid-range features -- save for their near field communication capabilities -- on the order of 800Mhz processors, 3.2-inch HVGA displays, and five-megapixel cameras with flash.
